I’ve yet to experience a shiatsu massage myself – though it’s high on my list – but I was drawn to create this collection for another reason entirely. Shiatsu comes from Japan, and designing these cards gave me the perfect chance to work with some of my favorite visual elements: blossoming sakura branches, peaceful bonsai trees, the balanced form of the yin yang, and graceful kanji characters.

Some designs in this collection also feature a practical touch—space for appointment schedules on the back – making them both beautiful and functional.
