Years ago, when I had my own little brick-and-mortar shop, Saturdays were sacred.
Not just because it was the last business day of the week – but because every Saturday, right after closing, I had a standing reflexology appointment next door. The flicker of candlelight, the scent of sandalwood in the air, the gentle buzz of ambient music… these rituals of relaxation became intertwined with my shop life.
Among the many things I sold, I also offered a modest selection of essential oils. At first, I knew very little. Just the classics – lavender, tea tree, rosemary. But curiosity kicked in quickly, as it always does with me. I started reading, experimenting, blending, and even got advice from a professional aromatherapist who worked nearby.
What stayed with me most wasn’t just the oils or their effects- it was the way scent bypasses all logic and rushes straight to the core of you.
“Scent speaks directly to memory, to instinct, to emotion—these cards are designed for those who work with that invisible but powerful magic.”
I still keep a curated selection of oils at home. Lavender for calm. Eucalyptus for clarity. Frankincense for grounding. And though I’m no certified aromatherapist, my designs are a small tribute to those who are – and who use their knowledge to soothe, heal, and center.
